1. It allows average people with little extra financial resources to start up their own business enterprise, to gain greater control over their income and to tap into the potential to earn an income working their own hours from home.


2. Starting your own business is hard and can be very isolated.  When you embark on a MLM business enterprise you automatically join a community of support.  The lead business body usually works hard to provide tools, training and support and there is usually at least one person (often several) in your upline who you can also key into for support.


3. Everyone who joins has the potential to make the same amount of money.  It is not necessarily true that those in levels above will make more money.  Everyone has the same potential to build their business and sometimes someone who is further down in level will actually build a more successful and profitable business than those above. 


4. Is saturation possible?  Yes it is possible, but not probable.  Consider how many cafes there are, or how many people sell Avon.  Competition exists in any field of business you go into.  It is very rare for a business idea to be truly unique.  It is highly unlikely that everyone will want to join a particular MLM business enterprise so there will always be a potential market.  This market is significantly increased when an MLM business enterprise is global as is the case with ONE Group.
   


5. You do not have to sell to family and friends.  There is a big wide market place out there – work out how to tap into that instead.  If the products are good, or you experience success at what you are doing then family and friends may begin to come to you - you do not necessarily need to pressure them.  Again, there is the potential to abuse MLM and for lead companies to ‘push’ you selling to family and friends.  This is not inherent in the MLM model, and not all lead companies have this focus.  Some people fear ‘selling’.  We have no problem with shops selling things – what is the difference?  We all need, and want, to buy products from somewhere. As long as the product you are selling is of good quality and a reasonable price then you can be confident in providing something that people want or need.  As long as your sales techniques have a base of integrity then there is nothing to fear.


6. There is a perception that “most people fail at MLM”.  This is probably true.  Most people fail at learning a musical instrument, most people fail at losing weight and most people fail at starting a conventional business.  The question that needs to be asked is not “do most people fail?” but “how many people succeed?”, “how do they succeed?” and “can I be one of them?”.   I believe that if you have passion combined with focus, dedication, commitment and the right tools then you will succeed.
